maternity

maternity1Congratulations! Whether this is your first, second or 5th, having a new life inside of you is always such an exciting time. Let me help you remember this pregnancy with photos that will help you and your posterity see the beautiful mother that you are!

How to plan/what to expect

  • Try to schedule your photo shoot at least 2 weeks in advance. That will give me some time to get to know you/your child/your family/your husband to help select a location for the photo shoot.
  • Portrait sessions can last anywhere from 1 to 2 hours. If you will be wanting some photos of your other children with you,  please let me know so I can plan ahead.
  • Think of me as a friend coming along with you for an outing… I’ll have my camera and follow you around while you do your thing. I may occasionally guide you, but I really just want you to be yourself so I can capture that in a photo!
  • Images will be ready 6-8 weeks after our session. Ordering details will be provided upon booking your session.
  • I LOVE props! Since your photography session will be all about YOU, don’t be afraid to bring a few things that make you or your family who you are.  A favorite quilt, a picnic basket, bikes, musical instruments, toys, even furniture! The sky is the limit- be creative!
  • I also have a few things I can bring as props too, so don’t be surprised if I pull something fun out during the shoot!
  • With all that being said, I am more than happy to offer suggestions on what I feel looks best in photographs, so just ask!

Maria - HEllo! I am very interested in having some photos taken later on in my pregnancy and after my baby is born as well. Whne would you say the best time to take maternity pictures is during a pregnancy? I want to be obviously showing but I dont want to look huge! :-)
Let me know what you think! I am very early in..only 8 weeks.
Thanks so much
Maria Miller
