Check Out MY Black Friday Deals!

This morning my sister and I woke up at 1 am to see if we could find any good Black Friday deals. Without  the help from my super organized father, we ended up wandering aimlessly from store to store with no real plan or goals in sight. But besides 1 or 2 good deals, we didn’t end up with much that was really worth the early morning expedition. We even waited in line at Target for almost an hour- and the best I ended up with was a $25 pre-lit tree and a $10 Blue Ray movie. And since we didn’t get all of our Christmas shopping done, we have to go out in the really bad traffic over the next few weeks to finish up.

SO….

I am going to save some of you some trouble by offering some special deals GOOD through Sunday November 29th 11:59 EST.

Becky - My favorite part of Thanksgiving this year was when all of my family was gathered around the table before we started a delicious meal and we stopped to say the blessing. My sweet little girl (3) wanted us all to hold hands and hearing her little voice say proudly: “God is Great. God is Good.” The moment froze for me.
I had to stop and say my own prayer of thankfulness for my life.

The moment was quickly halted when she, who was holding hands with at 4′ tall stuffed dog, asked him (the dog) why he was not praying with his eyes closed. (Laughter held back by everyone at the table)
Yes, God is Great. God is Good.

Kristy Salvato - Actually, my favorite Thanksgiving had to be the year when Home Alone came out in the movie theater. My cousins, my brothers, and I were in our tweens and childhood years. Anyway, instead of cooking a big dinner, we decided to postpone dinner for a day and head out to the movies instead with our moms and our beloved Mamaw. We had a Christmas carol sing along in the car, ate lots of popcorn, laughed till our bellies hurt at the movie, and had a great time eating dinner at a steakhouse. My Dad and my cousins’ dad had to work that day (the newspaper never stops). So, every year around Thanksgiving, our family always watches Home Alone to remember that very special day.

Crystal - Thanksgiving was lots of fun this year because we had both Michael’s and my family over to our house! We loved having a break and Jacob was so tired from all the lovin’ that he slept through the night for the first time afterwards. THAT was my favorite part. =)
